The winter holidays are coming, and your EACON inverter may enter the shutdown maintenance state. In order to avoid unnecessary losses caused by improper operation or other reasons, EACON reminds you to understand the following inverter maintenance knowledge:
Power off precautions
1. If no one is on duty,AC Drive power must be cut off. Correct power-off operation process: first cut off all kinds of machine power air switches, then cut off the circuit power, and finally cut off the main power supply;
2. After the power is cut off, please ensure that all kinds of emergency stops are effective, and hang the warning sign "Do not power on" if possible.
Precautions for power on after holidays
1. Check the interior of the electrical cabinet, for example, check whether there are small animals and their feces, whether there are frost or water marks. If there is much dust in the cabinet, please clean the external radiator of the converter.
2. Start the fan of the electrical cabinet for ventilation. If the electrical cabinet has an air conditioner or a heating device, start dehumidification first.
3. Check the upstream and downstream equipment, including incoming switch, contactor, outgoing cable, phase to phase and phase to ground insulation of motor, braking resistor, DC terminals of braking unit and their insulation with ground. Ensure that the power terminal is free from looseness and corrosion.
4. Check weak current lines, such as communication cables and I/O cables, to ensure their reliable connection. No looseness and rust.
5. Please power on in order: first close the main switch to power on, then close the opening switch to power on, and then close various machine switches to power on.
Other precautions
1. Tension control occasions: please remove the load tension after shutdown to keep the material slightly loose;
2. In case of long-term power failure: desiccant or lime bag shall be placed in the electric control cabinet to ensure dryness in the cabinet;
3. Before starting up after the holidays: please heat up the workshop or ventilate and remove moisture to avoid electrical failure caused by condensate. After the electrical drive products are powered on, they can be tested at low speed for a period of time, pre checked before normal operation, and then run at full speed after no error.
